Our Mission
We aim to raise awareness to the structural and policy-based flaws within the treatment of mentally-ill youth in America's juvenile justice system and present potential alternatives to these issues as well as provide external resources relevant to our topic.
We will identify several issues within the system and the negative effects on mentally-ill youth offenders on all levels of the system (before, during, and after incarceration). These issues include:

We will include a section listing readily-available resources and websites that further address issues surrounding the treatment of mentally-ill youth in the modern juvenile justice system.
